Senior Coordinator, Corporate Communications & Publicity - The Orchard

Required

• 2+ years of music industry corporate communications or publicity experience, preferably at a label or independent PR firm
• Strong understanding of the music media and PR landscape; understanding of digital distribution preferred
• Some established relationships with reporters, editors, social media influencers, photographers, and cultural tastemakers
• Experience executing press campaigns
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; business writing experience preferred
• Proven effective relationship builder and collaborator
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, meet tight deadlines and stay focused under pressure
• Solid project management capabilities
• Highly proficient ability to think both analytically and creatively
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
• Experience with media monitoring and press release distribution services (e.g. Cision, Constant Contact, Muckrack)
• Discretion and experience handling sensitive/confidential information
