Cribl Sales Engineer at Cribl responsible for defining and owning core IT systems and workflows. Lead identity, endpoint management, AWS infrastructure, ServiceNow, and automation efforts to improve reliability and security.
Responsibilities
This role is for someone who can move between strategy and execution: defining better patterns, building durable automations, guiding technical decisions, and stepping in directly when critical systems need attention.
As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...
As the Sr Staff Information Systems Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical owner and design authority for Cribl's core IT systems and workflows.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Identity, Access, and Lifecycle Management: Own and evolve identity platforms and lifecycle workflows (joiner/mover/leaver, group access, contractor lifecycle, privileged access, and access reviews), with a focus on least privilege, auditability, and scale.
AWS, Cloud, and Core Infrastructure: Own AWS-based IT infrastructure including access patterns, networking, logging, and monitoring. Define secure operational standards and partner with adjacent teams on shared infrastructure and cross-functional dependencies.
Automation and Systems Integration: Design and maintain automations across the IT stack using ServiceNow, Okta Workflows, scripting, APIs, and webhooks to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
ServiceNow and IT Service Management: Provide senior technical ownership of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, integrations, and data quality. Partner with leadership on change management, audit readiness, and sustainable process design.
Technical Leadership and Architecture: Establish scalable standards and guardrails for IT-owned systems. Act as a senior reviewer for new implementations and complex changes, and identify opportunities to standardize or simplify.
AI Tooling and Governance: Support enterprise AI tools and agent frameworks. Contribute to safe adoption patterns, access controls, and governance — while keeping core systems ownership as the primary focus.
Operations, Support & On-Call — Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents across platforms; participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical incidents and escalations
Security Incident Support: Partner with Security during incidents to support containment, access changes, triage, evidence gathering, and recovery across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and IT-owned infrastructure.
