Netskope Sr. Field Marketing Manager focused on technical pre-sales for Netskope's Data Discovery and Classification products. Drives sales targets and evangelizes DSPM product internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Objective #1: exceed our sales targets.
Objective #2: evangelize the DSPM product internally and externally
Articulate the high-level benefits of Netskope's Data Protection solutions to our target audiences (typically senior security management up to CISO and CIO).
Construct best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises as well as overall win strategy.
Take an active role in your regions customer success and help resolve any customer satisfaction issues, escalating cross functionally when needed.
Understand the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that customer requirement and provides business value
Create and deliver product demonstrations
Gather customer technical requirements
Participate in trade shows as required
Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them
Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners and managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion
Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
Qualification
Strong programming skills in GolangSolid understanding of RESTful APIsExcellent problem-solving skillsBS Computer Science required
Required
10+ years of experience in developing cloud security, network or endpoint solution, or with a proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining security software products.
Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, Node.js.
Experience designing and shipping APIs in highly scalable, distributed environments.
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes deployments.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTPS, TLS, and related technologies.
Knowledge of cryptographic techniques and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Fluency with agentic coding systems and genuine curiosity about agent harnesses like Claude Code, Pi, and Codex, so you should already be building with them, or itching to.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate openly, transparently, and consistently with team members and stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including debugging and performing root cause analysis for complex issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructures.
BS Computer Science required, MS Computer Science strongly preferred
