Responsibilities
We're looking for a reporter who can follow the money — breaking news and explaining the deals, investments and business strategies in the rapidly evolving marketplace.
Contribute to a bi-weekly newsletter exploring the biggest trends and news shaping the business of defense.
Break news on venture capital, startups, mergers and acquisitions, public companies, defense procurement and the financial forces reshaping the industry.
Help Axios readers understand how Pentagon priorities, procurement shifts and industrial policy influence investments and corporate strategy.
Become our public authority on stage and elsewhere to help illuminate these important issues.
A commitment to building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment.

Reporting experience in a fast-paced news environment.
Demonstrated experience landing big scoops and conceptualizing big ideas.
Strong writing skills for online and newsletters.
