BETA Technologies Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to improve inspection processes.

Responsibilities

Use a CMM to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components
Validate unproven CMM programs
Work with Manufacturing, Quality and Design Engineering teams to improve inspection processes
Provide technical expertise and direct involvement with machining process development and quality verification
Operate multiple CMMs supporting various machining processes and products
Provide formatted reports for engineering, CNC programs and operators
Inspect to prints developed with GD&T standards
Re-validate legacy CMM programs and develop probing and fixturing solutions

Qualification

Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14Experience with hand gages (micrometersStrong communication skillsExperience with an ERPAbove and Beyond QualificationsExperience with CNC CMM’sExperience with CMM software (CalypsoPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentISO 17025AS9100

Required

1 years QC experience in aerospace or comparable industry
Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018)
Experience with hand gages (micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers, etc.)
Strong communication skills
Experience with an ERP
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
Experience with CNC CMM’s
Experience with CMM software (Calypso, Polyworks, PC-DMIS, etc.)
Experience in tooling and fixturing design
Experience using CAD models for inspection
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment using OSHA required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Preferred

ISO 17025
AS9100
Experience with CNC CMM’s
Experience with CMM software (Calypso, Polyworks, PC-DMIS, etc.)
Experience in tooling and fixturing design
Experience using CAD models for inspection
