Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data governance analysts, overseeing their daily tasks and professional development

Oversee the day-to-day operational health of the enterprise data catalog (e.g., Collibra), ensuring metadata is being populated accurately and is useful for end-users

Design and implement data quality monitoring processes; guide the team in analyzing data quality issues and tracking remediation efforts with data stewards

Direct the development of dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key data governance metrics, such as data quality scores, catalog usage, and stewardship activity

Partner with data stewards across the organization to facilitate the definition of business terms, certification of data assets, and documentation of data lineage within the catalog

Act as a subject matter expert on the data catalog, training users and championing its adoption as the single source for data discovery

Translate high-level data governance objectives into specific analytical projects and tasks for your team

Report on the status of data quality and governance initiatives to the Data Governance Lead and other stakeholders
