Mercury Senior Software Engineer - Investments at Mercury leads technical projects building brokerage trading and custody systems. This role involves architecting scalable, compliant systems and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver features for customers and internal users.

Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across the Investments space.
Architect, build, and scale brokerage trading and/or custody systems and processes.
Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance to ship thoughtful features for our customers and internal users.

Qualification

Required

Has 5-7+ years of backend experience with a strong sense of ownership and detail.
Domain knowledge of broker-dealer trading and/or custody systems that support both individual securities (equities, fixed income) as well as ETFs and mutual funds.
Understands scale and isn’t afraid to dig into AWS and infrastructure solutions.
Has been the technical lead of complex projects with many stakeholders from inception to completion with a track record of success.
Made architectural decisions measuring the impact of those decisions over time. You should be able to clearly articulate your technical opinions and lay out tradeoffs.
