Head of Community Marketing

Required

• We are looking for a few specific things that will help you succeed in this role:
• 5-10 years of experience in community marketing or community-led growth at a consumer brand known for genuine community engagement (health/wellness, fitness, productivity, or lifestyle products with passionate user bases are a strong fit)
• A track record of building or significantly growing a community with active participation, members creating content, referring others, and organizing around the brand themselves
• Creative instincts for community activation, from concept to execution
• Fluency in both virtual and in-person community building
• Comfort using data to guide decisions and identify what's driving growth, engagement, and CAC
• Genuine empathy for engaging a sensitive, high-stakes population; you never lose sight of the real people behind the community
• Strong written and verbal communication; you can shape a brand's voice and adapt it to a high-trust context
• Willingness to travel regularly for events and partner meetings
• Some things that are not required, but you will learn on the job:
• Familiarity with the rare disease landscape or existing relationships within the rare disease community
• As with all new hires at Probably Genetic, you will also need to be:
