Responsibilities

The Director, Learning & Organizational Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously evolving learning, leadership development, career growth, and organizational development initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and support business performance.
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Management & Organizational Development, this role leads the organization's learning and development strategy and partners closely with leaders across the business to foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and growth. The Director serves as an internal consultant, facilitator, and trusted advisor, helping teams and leaders build the capabilities necessary to support organizational priorities and future growth. This role will oversee employee development programs while partnering across Human Resources to ensure learning solutions are integrated with broader talent strategies.
Learning Strategy and Capability Development
Refine, evolve, and execute the organization's learning and development strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce capability needs.
Design innovative and scalable learning solutions that support individual, team, and organizational effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, aligned with Amylyx values, that encourages employee growth, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
Evaluate emerging learning methodologies, technologies, and tools to enhance learning effectiveness and employee experience.
Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and recommend improvements based on business outcomes and learner feedback.
Employee, Leadership, and Manager Development
Design and manage development programs for individual contributors, emerging leaders, people leaders, and functional leaders.
Establish development experiences that strengthen individual & team leadership effectiveness, coaching capability, and people management skills.
Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
