Social Media Strategist, Instagram

Required

• 5+ years of experience in social production, digital strategy, or social content creation, with a primary focus on Instagram
• Proven track record of scaling Instagram accounts through original video content, with receipts (accounts, follower growth, view counts, engagement metrics you can point to)
• Demonstrated ability to build and hold a distinct brand voice on social. You can point to accounts you have worked on where the voice is clear, consistent, and different from the noise, AND you can articulate how you built it.
• A portfolio that reflects an extremely high creative bar. Your taste is the reference point you will hold post-production and design to.
• Strong collaboration instincts. You work well across editors, designers, producers, and talent. You know how to give direction without being precious, and take input without losing conviction.
• Hands-on editing proficiency. You can open a project file, cut a Reel, and ship it without waiting on anyone. Premiere or Resolve preferred.
• Graphic design, motion design, or other technical content creation skills are a strong plus. The more you can do yourself, the better.
• Ability to give clear, specific creative direction to editors and designers, not just react to their work
• You can find the 60-second viral clip in a 60-minute video
• You understand the specific cultural nuances of Instagram deeply, and are fluent across YouTube, TikTok, X, and emerging formats
• You thrive in a studio environment where workflows are documented and repeatable
• You understand the importance of AI and are comfortable using it across all workflows
