Software Engineer, Platform

Required

• You enjoy platform work and look for changes that improve the whole codebase, developer experience, or tooling rather than a single feature.
• You treat engineers and non-engineering teams as platform customers. You learn how they work, build with empathy, and iterate from real feedback.
• You can move quickly while defending the quality and scalability standards that shared infrastructure requires.
• You are comfortable building the interfaces and supporting product surfaces that make infrastructure useful to internal teams.
• You are security-minded and consider access, data handling, failure modes, and operational risk as part of ordinary engineering work.
• Bonus: You have built infrastructure for agentic systems, such as evals, agent loops, harnesses, or sandboxes, rather than only building individual agents.
• Bonus: Experience working directly on application security or infrastructure security.
• Bonus: Experience building financial products or systems where auditability and data integrity matter.
• Real Talk – We create space for ourselves and others to be straightforward, vulnerable, and accountable.
• Reach Understanding – We are driven by curiosity and empathy to learn about our customers, team, and world.
• Be Proactively Resourceful – We are internally motivated and externally empowered to identify opportunities and solve problems.
• Derisk Thoughtfully – We lean into the biggest risks we face as a company and put in the work to address them systematically.
