ScaleMicrogridSolutions Director, Capital Markets role leading origination, structuring, and management of debt and tax equity facilities in renewable energy projects. Responsible for financial modeling and team management.

Responsibilities

This is a front-office investment management and origination role on the Capital Markets team and is a great role for someone looking to play a leadership role at a fast-growing PE-backed business. You'll be instrumental in supporting the growth of our business, financing distributed energy assets, focusing primarily on batteries and microgrids.
This role will work full-time out of our New York office in the Union Square area.

Qualification

Experience leading negotiationMBACFA

Required

8+ years of experience financing or investing in infrastructure or renewable energy projects
3+ years managing analyst- or associate-level financial professionals
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering)
Demonstrated financial modeling competency
Experience leading negotiation, closing, and documentation of debt and tax equity financings
Experience developing and auditing complex financial models
Experience originating transaction opportunities
Working knowledge of off-take arrangements for distributed energy
Experience conducting project/portfolio due diligence and managing third-party consultants
