Marianaminerals Maintenance Technician role focused on mechanical and electrical maintenance at a modern mine site. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to mine site safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, crushers, hydraulics, and heavy equipment
Perform electrical maintenance on motors, controls, VFDs, and instrumentation
Conduct preventive maintenance and real-time troubleshooting across the mine and processing plant
Follow mine site safety protocols including MSHA training, lockout/tagout, arc flash (NFPA 70E), rigging, confined space, and working at heights

Qualification

Industrial or mechanical experienceComfortable with hand and power toolsStudents in electricalWeldersExperienced mechanics

Required

Finished or about to finish a technical program
Industrial or mechanical experience
Comfortable with hand and power tools

Preferred

Students in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance programs
Recent trade school or technical program graduates
Welders, fabricators, heavy equipment operators, drillers, or facilities techs with stable work history
Experienced mechanics, electricians, or military-trained techs
