Loan Operations Manager

Required

• You're someone who thrives on bringing structure to complex workflows and executing with discipline in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You combine deep technical loan knowledge with a collaborative mindset and a passion for process improvement.
• 8+ years of experience recommended in private credit loan operations, bank loan servicing, CLO administration, or through a third-party loan agent.
• Expertise in credit agreement mechanics, including loan origination and lifecycle events (fundings, rollovers, prepayments, conversions, etc.).
• Proficiency in LSTA/LMA conventions, day count standards, and benchmark rate calculations (SOFR, Term SOFR, Daily Simple).
• Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and ability to analyze complex position and cash reconciliations.
• A team-oriented problem solver who thrives in time-sensitive, high-visibility operating environments.
• Experience with direct lending portfolios, including unitranche, DDTL, super-senior/first-out structures, and PIK toggles, is highly preferred.
• Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
• $153,850 - $217,000 in San Francisco, CA & New York, NY
