Bobbie is hiring a part-time interim Demand Planning Manager to own the retail demand forecast and turn it into accurate, actionable plans for our retail business. This role reports to our Director, Commercial and Demand Planning and sits at the center of our retail growth, connecting retailer sell-through data to supply, finance, and sales decisions. This is a temporary role for ~8 months.
This person will build and maintain the retail volume plan that drives our revenue forecast, using retailer POS data, syndicated market data, distribution changes, promotional calendars, and seasonality to improve forecast accuracy at the account, item, and week level.
The Interim Demand Planning Manager will be a thought partner to our sales team and retail partners, helping deliver Bobbie’s growth strategy on shelf. They will also partner with the Strategy & Data Insights team to bring retail insights into the strategic roadmap.
What you will accomplish:
Own the retail demand plan and forecasting process, building forecasts by retailer, item, and week, and tracking accuracy and bias over time.
Partner with Supply Chain to make sure product is in the right place at the right time for our retail partners, owning the retail demand input into S&OP.
Translate retailer POS, inventory, and order data into sell-in forecasts, monitoring weeks of supply and flagging out-of-stock or overstock risk early.
Partner with Sales on tracking retail performance, using SPINS, IRI/Circana, and Nielsen data to analyze Bobbie and the broader category.
Build forecasts for new distribution, new items, resets, and promotions, and measure their impact after launch.
Partner with FP&A and the sales team to deliver the retail portion of the Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecast updates.
Support scenario planning for retail growth moves, including new accounts, new items, and new programs.
Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, finance, and data teams to evaluate how business decisions affect retail supply and service levels.
