Responsibilities

This role can either be based in our New York office or remotely in the United States. The Contracts Manager will primarily be responsible for reviewing various sales agreements and sales-related agreements. The Contracts Manager will report to the Managing Counsel, Commercial Contracts and will partner with other functions of the business (such as Product, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Marketing) as necessary to help AlphaSense achieve its high-growth goals. This role is essential to our growth and will have an immediate impact in our dynamic, fast-paced culture.
Take ownership of reviewing, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts, escalating key issues to stakeholders as appropriate;
Collaborate with the company attorneys to ensure contracts reflect current legal and compliance requirements;
Partner cross-functionally to move deals efficiently through the sales cycle;
Help enhance and apply playbooks, policies, and processes to ensure consistency and conformance in contracts;
Manage operations, including workflow management and systems;
Provide general assistance to the AlphaSense legal team on contracts-related matters.
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

Base Compensation Range
$78,000—$108,000 USD
