Nerdwallet Senior Corporate Accounting & Compliance Analyst II at NerdWallet supporting general ledger areas and month-end close activities. Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, flux analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations for key general ledger areas
Own assigned month-end close tasks and support consolidations
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accruals
Review GL accounting work prepared by offshore accounting team for completeness and accuracy
Prepare monthly and quarterly internal management reporting for CFO review
Support the annual external audit and quarterly reviews by executing SOX controls and responding to audit inquiries
Advance AI/automation initiatives by improving processes using AI tools
Support M&A transaction accounting and integration of acquired entities

Qualification

Active CPA licenseSolid working knowledge of UExperience with Oracle Fusion

Required

3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience in both external audit and industry
Active CPA license
Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Hands-on experience executing SOX controls
Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask

Preferred

Experience using AI/automation to improve processes.
Experience with Oracle Fusion.
This role will be remote (based in the U.S.).
