Astronicscorporation Electronics Materials Manager at Astronics CSC responsible for procurement and materials management of electronic LRU product lines. Leads procurement team and drives cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for procurement related to electronic product lines
Determine responsibilities of organization and staff positions
Supervise recruitment, evaluations, and advancement
Train employees on company and customer policies and regulations
Work with engineering to identify procurement issues and opportunities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic commodities
Identify and evaluate potential new vendors
Plan incoming materials according to production plan
Analyze BOMs for cost savings opportunities
Follow market trends and provide long-term planning guidance
Identify and assess supply risks and develop mitigation plans
Maintain safety stock, alternate suppliers, and contingency plans

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of five years procurement experience
Minimum of five years experience with MRP or ERP systems
