Astronicscorporation The Paint Associate performs painting and finishing tasks on aerospace components using various spray and screening equipment. This role follows detailed work instructions and contributes to continuous improvement in a climate-controlled production environment.

Responsibilities

Bring your hands-on skills and a great attitude to help us build the best in aerospace manufacturing. Whether you have prior production experience or are eager to get started, you’ll be trained to:
Use airbrushes, HVLP spray guns, screening tables, gun washing equipment, paint booths, measuring equipment and ovens
Perform spraying of clear coat, paint on fronts and backs, paint for finals, paint I, paint on Avionics, paint on GDLS
Perform screening on panels, metal, and GDLS
Balance INCN and EL panels, Avionics product, and GDLS
Perform all sanding and flipping tasks
Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure high-quality production
Work with a collaborative team to solve problems and keep production moving
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and help streamline processes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
High school diploma or equivalent
Great attention to detail, willingness to learn, follow instructions, and be part of a team
