Runtrellis The Account Executive, Health Systems at Runtrellis leads the sales cycle for new business with hospitals and health systems. This role involves building pipeline, selling to multiple stakeholders, and shaping the health system market strategy.

Responsibilities

You'll lead Trellis's newest business line: selling to hospitals and health systems. Health systems run infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, and oncology service lines that depend on fast, accurate authorizations and financial clearance. You'll open our first health system accounts and shape how we win in this market.
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through discovery, pilot scoping, pricing, and close
Build pipeline across academic medical centers, regional health systems, and hospital-based cancer centers
Sell to revenue cycle, pharmacy, infusion, and oncology service line leaders, up to CFOs and other C-suite executives
Build ROI cases around authorization turnaround, denials, patient access, and staff capacity
Navigate long, complex buying cycles, including IT and security review, EHR integration (e.g., Epic), value analysis, and procurement
Partner with founders and our deployment team to define the health system playbook, from packaging to reference accounts

Required

You're a builder who likes owning a number. You'd rather open a new market than inherit a territory, and you're as comfortable writing a cold sequence as you are walking a VP of Operations through a business case.
You move fast, stay organized, and get curious about how things work. That means learning how a prior authorization moves through a specialty pharmacy, or how to wire up a tool that saves you ten hours a week.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years as a quota-carrying AE closing new business
Required: direct experience selling enterprise software or services to hospitals and health systems
A track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals with long cycles and many stakeholders
Working knowledge of health system revenue cycle, pharmacy, or patient access operations
Experience navigating IT security reviews, EHR integrations, and health system procurement
Experience selling technical, SaaS, or AI products is a plus
