SpaceX Production Technician role supporting production processes and equipment at an RF filter manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include operating equipment, monitoring SPC charts, and supporting process improvements.
Responsibilities
Conform to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate the ability to train Production Operators on SOPs
Input data and monitor SPC control charts for processes and equipment and be able to follow corrective actions when violations occur
Obtain qualifications to operate area equipment
Ensure safety and quality protocols are followed
Multitask and cross train across multiple tool set
Support new product introductions, existing products, and processes
Identify and contain quality problems associated with the area’s toolset
Support continuous process improvements projects to enhance yield, reduce cycle time, and lower manufacturing costs
Support engineering and maintenance teams by running experiments
Document results and summarize data
Qualification
Strong writtenADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Required
High school diploma or equivalent AND 4+ years of experience working as a production or engineering technician in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry
OR associate’s degree or greater in a STEM discipline AND 1+ years of experience working as a production or engineering technician in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry
Preferred
4+ years of experience working as a production technician in the semiconductor/electronics manufacturing industry
Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JMP statistical software
