BlankStreet The General Manager at Blank Street is responsible for full ownership of store operations including team training, inventory management, and customer experience. This role involves hiring talent, driving business growth, and maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

Create a motivating and engaging team culture through training, coaching, and mentoring
Cover scheduling gaps or time off in the store schedule
Create and publish staff schedules according to labor laws
Review and approve timecards and paid time off requests
Recruit talent in collaboration with the People Team
Oversee and validate training executed by Shift Leads
Ensure coffee accreditations are handled on time
Maintain team engagement scores
Maintain food and beverage quality standards
Own ordering, vendor relations, waste management, inventory counts, and compliance
Lead by example behind the bar producing food and beverage products
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and presentation of the location

Qualification

Full Time availability

Required

4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in high growth hospitality or consumer brands
Full Time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days of availability required and must be available to work 2 peak days (usually weekend days, weekend as described as Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
