Opentable The Sales Development Representative at OpenTable drives revenue growth by prospecting and qualifying restaurant clients to secure appointments for the sales team. This hybrid role involves outbound prospecting and building relationships with restaurant decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Conduct targeted outbound prospecting across multiple channels to identify and engage potential restaurant partners.
Educate prospects on how our solutions can optimize their operations and elevate the guest experience.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads effectively to ensure a high-quality pipeline for Account Executives.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with restaurant decision-makers to establish credibility and foster partnerships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives to strategize on target accounts and maximize conversion rates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and pipeline progression using CRM software.

Qualification

Location proximity to Chicago

Required

1+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a comparable outbound-focused role.
Fluency in English for professional written and verbal business communications.
Proven track record of successfully generating leads, qualifying prospects, and meeting performance metrics.
Proficiency in delivering compelling sales presentations and utilizing fundamental selling techniques to drive engagement.
Experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and manage sales activity.

Preferred

Previous experience working within the hospitality, technology, or SaaS industries.
Deep understanding of the restaurant industry landscape and current market trends.
Familiarity with modern sales productivity tools.
Proactive approach to continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
