BlankStreet The Cafe Manager at Blank Street is responsible for managing all aspects of a cafe including team development, inventory management, and customer experience. The role involves leading by example, maintaining operational standards, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

Create a motivating and engaging team culture through training and coaching
Cover scheduling gaps and create staff schedules according to labor laws
Review and approve timecards and paid time off requests
Recruit talent in collaboration with People Team
Oversee and validate quality of training by Shift Leads
Maintain food and beverage quality standards
Own ordering, vendor relations, waste management, and inventory counts
Lead by example behind the bar producing food and beverage products
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and presentation of location
Maintain operational excellence via auditing platform

Qualification

Full Time availability

Required

4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in high growth hospitality or consumer brands
Full Time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days of availability required and must be available to work 2 peak days (usually weekend days, weekend as described as Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
