Distro Electrical Design Engineer at Distro supports electrical projects from field investigation through design and construction for complex facilities. Develop practical, constructable designs and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Perform field investigations to verify existing equipment and conditions
Review existing documentation and identify missing information
Develop conceptual and detailed designs for electrical systems and facility modifications
Size power distribution and associated components
Develop construction documents considering constructability and constraints
Review equipment and vendor information and develop calculations and sketches
Coordinate with CAD/Revit designers, engineering disciplines, clients, and contractors
Participate in site walks, client meetings, design reviews, and coordination
Support projects through construction including RFIs, submittals, and design revisions
Manage multiple assignments and maintain project schedules

Qualification

Proven semiconductor

Required

10 years Electrical Designer/Engineer experience
Proven semiconductor, cleanroom, and power-distribution experience
Strong design experience in power distribution, short circuit, and coordination studies
Experience with complex or technically demanding facilities such as healthcare, industrial, laboratories, semiconductor, or central plants
