Isembard CNC Machinist at Isembard responsible for programming, simulating, and optimizing toolpaths and running jobs to aerospace and defense standards. Own cycle time and machine utilization.
Responsibilities
The parts you cut go into aircraft, defense systems, energy infrastructure and robots. This is a hands-on machining role at our Dallas factory, where you own your work from the program to the finished part rather than handing it down a line.
The factory is still being shaped, so you will help improve the setup rather than wait for it.
Program, simulate and optimize toolpaths in 3-axis, 5-axis and mill-turn where it applies.
Set up, prove out and run jobs to aerospace and defense standards.
Own cycle time and machine utilization.
Choose fixturing, tooling and cutting parameters for aluminum, steels, titanium and Inconel.
Take new parts from drawing to repeatable production, with DFM feedback for the customer.
