The New York Times advertising department is looking for a Manager of Measurement Analytics. As a strategic and data-driven individual, you will transform our vast data resources into compelling narratives. These narratives will explain the unique value of our platform and products, focused on campaign performance. You will be a central hub of knowledge, applying deep analysis of our audience and ad products to empower our Sales, Strategy and Product teams. This is a hybrid role based in our New York headquarters, reporting to the Senior Director, Measurements, Audience and Insights. You can typically expect to be in the office 3 days per week.
Develop expertise in the full suite of NYT research capabilities and measurement products that deliver important performance metrics across the full marketing funnel, to current and potential clients.
Lead meta-analyses that merge different first-party and third-party data sources to create unified, powerful narratives about The New York Times advertising platform and its audience.
Monitor key datasets to identify latest trends, package them into applicable insights, and communicate findings to support go-to-market strategies and client conversations.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and present for both technical and non-technical partners, including senior leadership.
Perform ad hoc analysis using data tools and 3rd party datasets to answer critical business questions from Sales, Strategy, and Measurement teams.
Be an important consultative partner to Analytics teams, providing expert user feedback to guide the design of our first-party data dashboards and tools.
Contribute to the development of new measurement capabilities, metrics, and frameworks that measure the value of our evolving suite of advertising products.

Required
5+ years of experience in data analytics, media insights, ad tech, or a related quantitative field.
Experience fielding measurement analysis, and an understanding of solutions that help report on performance from Awareness to Conversions (e.g., Brand Lift studies, Content Evaluation, Sales Lift, Incrementality, MTA etc.) with vendors such as Kantar, Brand Metrics, ABCS Insights, Lucid, Nielsen etc.
Experience working with data clean room solutions (e.g., LiveRamp, Snowflake) for measurement and audience activation
Experience translating complex data into applicable insights for non-technical audiences.
Experience with SQL
Experience working directly with sales or client-facing teams.
Preferred
Experience in the digital advertising, publishing, or media industry

The annual base pay range for this role is between:
$100,000—$110,000 USD
