Conveo Head of Video Content at Conveo owns the entire video content engine end to end, including what is filmed, why, and the quality standards. This role involves setting the narrative slate, directing hero films, building repeatable formats, and running the production and clipping pipelines.

Responsibilities

Set the slate and direct the hero films
Build and own the narrative slate for flagship films and landmark studies
Own the video spine of every hero campaign from concept through final cut
Shape and manage repeatable content formats including podcasts and event clips
Run the clipping and repurposing pipeline for cutdowns and social clips
Build and run the production bench including freelancers and crews

Required

An excellent editor in your own right: the role starts very hands-on, and your own cuts set the bar the bench has to match
A sharp story editor at any length: a 90 minute podcast, a 3 minute hero film, a 30 second clip
An exceptional storyteller at both altitudes: each piece lands on its own, and the formats and throughlines across pieces build one coherent, on-brand narrative
An orchestrator: comfortable building and running a bench of freelancers, editors, motion designers, and crews
Hands-on in a scale-up: you ship first, then systematize
Hungry to build a company into a media brand, and a student of the ones who did it
Thinks in formats and slates, and judges ideas by what they prove about the brand and whether they can repeat
High agency, low ego: happy to hold the camera on Tuesday and present the slate to founders on Wednesday
Taste with a spine: you defend the quality bar even when the deadline argues
