Honor Lead Care Professional at Honor providing compassionate in-home care and leading other caregivers. Focus on client relationship building and delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, professional care to older adults in their homes
Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, companionship, meals, and daily routines
Help with new client starts to create a smooth and positive care experience and assist with transitioning clients to ongoing caregivers
Review care plans and visit notes to understand each client’s needs and preferences
Provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to other caregivers
Support clients with dementia care and end-of-life care needs
Communicate professionally with clients, families, office staff, and caregivers
Qualification
Must pass background checkOvertime eligibility
Required
4+ years years of professional caregiving experience (active CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential is preferred)
Open weekday availability and the ability to rotate weekend on-call shifts
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
Comfortable working in different home environments: houses, apartments, buildings with stairs or elevators, homes with pets, and/or smoking environments
Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed to help cover gaps
Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
Must be available for 60 hours per week in order to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
