Clasp Group Product Manager, Data & Foundations at Clasp Group leads two engineering pods focused on data and integrations. The role involves roadmap planning, sprint management, and shaping product strategy for internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
Roadmap & Delivery
Run roadmap and sprint planning for the Data and Foundations & Integrations pods, working with two engineering leads.
Keep both teams focused, unblocked, and shipping. Break large efforts into clear milestones and communicate progress and risk honestly.
Prioritize. Demand will always outrun capacity, and you'll make trade-offs openly instead of letting the loudest request win.
Data Ingestion & Integrations
Own how we keep our customers' data in sync with ours, from SFTP file ingestion to full API integrations.
Make bringing on a new partner faster, more repeatable, and less dependent on engineering heroics.
Design for what happens when things fail, including validation, monitoring, and clear recovery paths, so problems surface before a partner notices.
Lead enterprise-readiness work like SCIM provisioning that removes friction for larger partners.
Notifications & User Communications
Own how Clasp communicates with end users across email, in-product, and emerging channels like AI chat.
Give teams visibility into what goes out, to whom, and why.

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience. We weight the work heavily over the credential.
3+ years in product management (5+ for Senior), ideally on data, integrations, communications, internal tools, or B2B SaaS products. A background in data, solutions engineering, or engineering before product is a plus.
Technical depth: you're comfortable in SQL, can read a data model, and understand APIs, webhooks, file-based integrations, and auth and provisioning patterns well enough to hold your own in system design discussions.
Hands-on experience owning or shipping customer or partner integrations (SFTP, APIs, SSO/SCIM, or similar), and a clear view of what makes them scale or break.
Experience running roadmaps and sprint planning for engineering teams, ideally across more than one team at a time.
A real partnership with data teams. You understand the modern data stack (warehouses, pipelines, BI) well enough to contribute to migrations, data quality, and reporting.
Hands-on experimentation with LLMs, MCP, or agents, with a grounded view of where they help in user communications and internal operations, and where they don't.
Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain a migration plan to an executive and a partner-facing impact to an engineer.
Preferred
Fintech, lending, HR tech, or healthcare experience.
Experience in a regulated industry where consumer data, consent, and access controls carry real rules.
Notification or messaging experience (email, in-app, SMS, or conversational AI).
Building or replacing an internal tools stack at a growing company.
What We Give in Return
Competitive cash and equity compensation.
Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
