Cpgroup Chief Engineer at CP Group leads the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems for assigned properties. The role includes managing budgets, overseeing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain annual repair & maintenance budget and long-range capital improvement plans
Work with design team to develop safe, efficient, and effective projects within budget
Evaluate costs including materials, labor, and schedule for projects
Oversee operational aspects of the property to protect and improve asset value
Conduct regular evaluations of asset for property needs and recommend improvements
Develop and implement preventive maintenance/repair programs and record PM efforts
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and integrity of building areas, systems, and equipment
Oversee condition and preventive maintenance of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, vertical transportation, electrical equipment
Perform regular site inspections to assess property condition and compliance
Oversee completion of annual building systems inspection/testing and maintenance requirements
Manage insurance exposures ensuring safety of common areas

Technical mechanical knowledge and proficiency.
Ability to ascertain what repairs are most urgent in nature and prioritize.
Minimum high school diploma or GED Equivalent.
10+ years related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
Universal CFC certification required.
Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.
Knowledgeable in energy management systems, energy reduction techniques and operations.
Knowledge of front-end Building Automations Systems.
Thorough knowledge of all building systems operations, maintenance, and repair.
Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
Physical Demands:
