Tabs Head of Private Equity Partnerships at Tabs builds and leads the PE channel, owning strategy, targets, partner programs, and team building. The role manages relationships with PE firms and drives pipeline and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Tabs is looking for a Head of Private Equity Partnerships to build and lead our PE channel. A strong PE strategy can build both near term trust and firm activation and unlock a portfolio over time. We want someone who can turn that into a repeatable engine.
You’ll own the channel end to end: the strategy, the targets, the partner program, and building out the team. That means deciding which firms we prioritize and how we engage them, building the playbook and infrastructure that turn relationships into pipeline and revenue every quarter, and hiring the people who run it. You’ll balance maintaining hundreds of relationships with operating partners and investors with building out the playbook, reporting, and tooling the channel runs on.
This role is ideal for someone who has built a PE partner program before, knows how value creation teams think, and wants to do it again with real ownership at a fast-growing company.
Set Channel Strategy: Define where we play in PE, including which firms, fund types, and portfolio profiles to prioritize, and how the channel hits its pipeline and revenue targets every quarter.
Activate and Expand Firms: Source new firm relationships and deepen existing ones across managing directors, operating partners, value creation teams, and portfolio CFOs. Turn each relationship into a steady flow of portfolio introductions.
Build the Partner Program: Own the PE partner program and playbook, including partner tiers and incentives, value creation initiatives, portfolio-wide offers, events, and content that make Tabs easy to recommend.
Own the Number: Carry the channel’s pipeline and revenue targets. Build the forecasting, reporting, and operating cadence that shows what’s working and where to double down.
Build and Lead the Team: Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing partner managers, and set the bar for how we show up with firms.
Build the Infrastructure: Stand up the tooling, CRM workflows, and processes the channel needs to scale, and do the IC work yourself when that’s the fastest path.
Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with our other partnerships channels, Sales, Marketing and Product to shepherd partner-sourced deals to close, bring portfolio feedback into the roadmap, and keep our positioning sharp for PE audiences.
Represent Tabs within the industry: Be the face of Tabs at industry events, partner offsites, and portfolio CFO forums.

Required
Hunter and Harvester: You’re as comfortable engaging and activating new firms as you are running a long-term account plan with an existing one. You know how to drive near-term pipeline and revenue without spending down long-term trust.
Strategic: You see the forest for the trees, set clear and confident direction, and can explain the tradeoffs between different paths forward.
Executive Presence: You’re credible in a room with managing directors and operating partners, and you communicate with confidence, structure, and clarity.
First Principled and Data Backed: You form strong opinions from data and first principles, and you update them when the data changes.
Curious and Fast Learning: You want to deeply understand partner dynamics, our product, and our buyer, and you pick up new concepts quickly.
Builder: You have a strong bias for action and are excited to scale an early channel, including rolling up your sleeves to put the foundation in place.
Bold: You have a vision for what a best-in-class PE partnerships program looks like and the drive to get us there.
