Genscript The Cell Culture Associate Scientist at GenScript performs suspension cell culture operations to support biologics production, ensuring quality and consistency. This role includes troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration to improve production processes.

Responsibilities

Perform suspension cell culture operations in alignment with established protocols, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot cell culture processes; promptly report and help resolve production-related issues.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of experiments, procedures, and results; prepare reports as needed.
Submit weekly summaries of completed work to support team planning and performance reviews.
Collaborate with team members to review and update production records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve accuracy and consistency.
Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by the department supervisor.

Qualification

Strong laboratory hands-on skillsExcellent communicationHighly responsible

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher in cell biology, biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in cell culture or laboratory operations preferred.
Strong laboratory hands-on skills, with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Highly responsible, reliable, and proactive in meeting deadlines and projects delivery.
Prior experience in a CRO or CDMO environment is preferred.
Familiarity with laboratory data documentation systems and good data integrity practices is a plus.
