We are looking for an Account Manager, Capital based in Ghent to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you will partner directly with a dedicated portfolio of hospitality merchants, acting as a trusted advisor to help them scale and streamline their operations using Lightspeed Capital.

Drive Merchant Growth: Partner with hospitality merchants across your portfolio to understand their financial needs and present Lightspeed Capital solutions effectively.

Build Strategic Relationships: Serve as a trusted consultative partner, identifying financing opportunities that align with your merchants' long-term business goals.

Manage Deal Cycles: Lead discussions, negotiate agreements, and close financial contracts to support portfolio retention and growth.

Collaborate for Territory Success: Work closely with regional leadership to identify expansion opportunities and meet regional goals.

B2B Account Management or Sales Experience: Proven experience managing client relationships, driving pipeline, and closing agreements. Fintech, SaaS, or financial services experience is a strong asset, but transferable consultative sales experience is welcome.

Consultative Communication: Ability to articulate financial concepts clearly and build rapport with merchant owners and executive stakeholders.

Growth Mindset: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative, and incorporating feedback to develop your craft.

Bilingual Fluency: Fluent professional proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal), proficiency in French would be a significant advantage.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

Familiarity with the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Exposure to SaaS, payments, or banking/lending products.
