Darkroom Chief of Staff to the CEO at Darkroom to manage critical projects, lead capital raising, and run the operating rhythm. Support the CEO by managing executive priorities and driving company initiatives to completion.
Responsibilities
You work directly with me on whatever matters most that week. Some weeks that's the fundraise. Some weeks it's fixing a broken team, pricing a new product, or closing a deal. You own it until it's done. Over time, this seat leads to running a line of the business yourself.
Run the operating rhythm: leadership, metrics, board and investor prep
Help me manage the executive team: set priorities, hold owners to their commitments, and surface problems before they reach me
Lead capital raising with me: model, data room, narrative, investor pipeline
Take on the hardest projects in the company, start to finish, including M&A and Shadow
Be my second brain: decide what needs me, and handle what doesn't
Make the company faster with AI, starting with your own work
Unusually sharp. You learn fast and think clearly on paper
2 to 7 years in investment banking, consulting, or a fund, where you've lived in models and closed real deals
Early in your career, hungry, and not yet set in big-company habits
You can earn the trust of senior leaders and push them without a title doing it for you
You finish things nobody asked you to finish
